.. and not coffee

I just had one of those *argh* moments whilst clearing off my desk. A cup of cold tea spilt every where and started dripping onto my new £60 keyboard (it has blue lights!). To cap it all there wasn't a cloth to hand I I had one of those weirdly awkward moments cupping the water with on hand whilst fumbling to move the keyboard with the other.

Ouch. Luckily it seems ok.

Tea it seems is non-conductive, non-corrosive and perfectly ok as a Keyboard lubricant (albeit in small quantities). Not like the coffee I spilt on my last keyboard - that was totally trashed (eventually it worked again but the space bar was completely dead). Interestingly the last one was just a generic wireless one and this one is a fancy, wired, lit up, digital, all singing all dancing one. From this I incur that a) expensive keyboards are a good idea and b) coffee really fucks them up (maybe it's the added caffeine)!

Or: Tea good, Coffee bad.

Or you could just not spill it in the firstp lace.....
